Success at Infrarail

May 11, 2012

Tracksure have just returned from the Infrarail exhibition at the NEC and had 3 successful days. The number of exhibitors and size of the exhibition was down on two years and maybe this allowed the visitors to the exhibition to seek out previously neglected exhibitors.

We had tremendous interest, mainly from existing or potential UK customers, but also including countries as diverse as Australia and Belarus.

Cemex fits Wheelsure

September 18, 2010

Cemex is one of the world’s largest building products suppliers and took the decision to retro-fit Wheelsure to its entire UK Aggregates fleet in the Summer of 2008. Just a little over 12 months later the project is complete and over 300 vehicles have been fitted throughout the UK.

At the recent MPA Awards, Cemex won a highly Commended award based on this safe wheels initiative and in the words used in their safety submission, “since fitting the locking device (Wheelsure), no incidents have occurred”, from a level of 18 incidents in 2007.

Wheel nut loosening/wheel loss is particularly prevalent in this type of industry and Cemex has proved itself an industry leader in establishing best practice in preventing accidents.
